Description

Ty’n Ffridd is a small, single-storey cottage built into a hillside. It’s constructed from coursed slate rubble with a lime-washed front elevation and a roof covered with small slate, held in place by bedding and grouting. The front of the cottage is set to the left to accommodate a large chimney serving the main room on the right. A planked doorway is flanked by square windows, which have been boarded over and feature sawn slate lintels. A small roof-light is visible on the left side, indicating the presence of a crogloft within. Adjacent to the left-hand gable, there are remains of a small outbuilding.
