Description
Wern Gron Farmhouse is a two-storey house with end chimneys, constructed from rubble masonry that is roughly brought to courses, topped with a slate roof and stone stacks featuring moulded caps. The house has a near-central door flanked by 16-pane sash windows, with three 12-pane windows in raking dormers above. To the left of the house is a farm-building made of stone and slate, likely a lofted stable, which has a single doorway on the ground floor and a loft entry accessed by steps to the right. A rear wing of the house was roofless in 2003. The property was overgrown with vegetation during an inspection in 2003, and it was deemed structurally unsafe during a resurvey, so it was not inspected again. An earlier description from 1966 mentioned a plank and muntin partition.
