Description
Honeyborough Dairy is a two-storey house built from rubble stone, topped with a slate close-eaved roof. It features a massive external chimney on the left and a rendered stack on the right. The front has a three-window range of renewed sashes, with nine panes above and twelve panes below, and a central 20th-century door. The ground floor openings have concrete lintels. The left end chimney breast slopes in on the right and is vertical on the left, with a stone shelf at the first-floor level.
The interior was not available for inspection, but in 1968 it included doors with six sunk panels and moulded frames, exposed joists, and a wide fireplace that had been infilled with a modern oven. The stairs featured a closed string, turned balusters, and a small window at the turn of the stair.
