Description

The lime kiln at Church Lake is a square structure built from coursed rubble stone, featuring a retaining wall on the southeast side. On the southwest side, there is a large tapering kiln-eye with a shallow segmental arch made of dressed stone voussoirs. It is said that the crucible remains intact and is covered.
