Description

The carthouse located southwest of Glyn Lledr is a late 18th-century structure built from rubble with a slate roof, and it is partly in ruins. The building features crude kneelers at the gables and a rubble plinth. It has two bays with plain openings and chamfered wooden openings, as well as upper loading bays on both gable sides.

Inside, there is a two-bay pegged upper cruck truss, which is an unusually late example for the region. The presence of joist holes suggests there was once a loft floor. On either side of the twin entrances, there are square niches.
