Description

Careg Fawr is a large arch constructed from rubble with an irregular, flat slate-stone lintel, which is believed to have been transported from Harlech. The arch features sloped buttressing on all sides except for the inner sides of the supporting piers. It has plain string courses arranged in three tiers that return around the sides. There is a rubble finial on the northwest side, while the matching finial is missing.
