Description
The barn at Cae'r March is a late 17th century to 18th century rubble structure, with a later 19th century addition to the west that creates an L-shaped complex with the main building. It features a corrugated iron roof. There is an entrance on the east side, which faces the house, and another entrance to the later lean-to on the right, both with boarded doors. The roof of the lean-to is hipped, topped with a gablet that has weather-coursing. The 19th century hay barn addition to the west has three bays, which were originally open but are now blocked with modern upper glazing.
Inside the early section, there are three bay pegged collar trusses, and evidence of a former smoke hood in the north gable end suggests that the barn may have had some domestic use in the past.
