Description

The barn at Cae Einion is a late 17th-century structure built from rubble, which was constructed around the same time as the farmhouse. It features part boulder foundations and a rubble gable parapet on the right (downhill) end. The barn has an old slate roof and off-centre entrances on both long sides, with the entrance on the west side now reduced to an unglazed window opening. There is a ventilation slit to the left of the east entrance and an additional entrance on the south (downhill) gable. Inside, the barn has a three-bay layout with contemporary tie-beam and collar trusses.
