Description

This is a small, 2-bay, rubble-built Methodist chapel from the early 19th century, featuring a slate roof with plain eaves and later bargeboards. On the east side, there are two large original 12-pane windows that are nearly flush with the wall, each with projecting slate cills. The south end has an additional 8-pane window to the left of a single-storey gabled porch that dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. The porch is made of snecked dressed stone and has an entrance on the east face, along with a 4-pane window on the west side; the door is recessed and boarded.

Attached to the east side of the chapel, and set back and stepped down, is a low two-storey minister's cottage. This cottage is also built of rubble and has a corrugated iron roof with an end chimney on the north gable, featuring weather coursing. There is external access to the first floor on the left via a flight of cemented steps, leading to a rubble parapet. The first floor has a contemporary boarded door and a wooden doorcase, with a modern plain-glazed window to the right. Below, there is another recessed boarded door with a small contemporary wooden-shuttered window to the left.
