Description

This is a cast iron milepost from the second half of the 19th century, featuring a triangular profile. The north face displays raised lettering indicating "Blaenau Ffestiniog 3," while the south face shows "Bala 17," both accompanied by a raised arrow. There are no visible foundry marks on the milepost. It is listed for its historic significance as a surviving example of a 19th-century milepost located in a prominent village area.
