U-shaped Agricultural Range E of Dinas Ddu

This U-shaped agricultural range, built of rubble with slate roofs, is located east of Dinas Ddu. The complex features a primary five-bay hay barn, which is joined on the west by a later byre, and a low two-bay cartshed that projects northward. This arrangement creates a small yard that is open to the north, with rough slate slabs and cobbling. The byre end includes a short section of rubble wall on the left, adjacent to the rear of the hay barn, and a slate-slab partition on the right, which has an opening in the center.

The hay barn has two open bays in the center, a third boarded bay to the right, and a slit vent in the enclosed bay beyond. The open bays are supported by plain square rubble piers but are blocked with rubble at the rear. Both gable ends feature boarded upper loading bays. The byre addition is lower and connects to the left gable of the hay barn, beyond a rubble buttress, and has blocked ventilation slits. Its west gable includes an opening with a boarded loading bay above and a boarded door on the enclosed side. The cartshed has a boarded entrance on the left and a plain cart opening on the right.

Inside the hay barn, the five-bay layout features raking queen strut trusses in the first four bays, while the fifth bay has an internal rubble partition with an open loading bay in the upper section.
