Description
The Field Barn at Ty'n Llwyn Farmhouse is a three-bay lofted barn built around the same time as the farmhouse. It is situated along a slope and constructed from rubble masonry. The barn features a steeply pitched roof made of corrugated asbestos, with a gable parapet at the right end.
The central doorway has a stone lintel, while there is a loft entry at the right gable end, also with a deep stone lintel. The left gable end has windows for both the loft and ground floor, which are framed in 19th-century style with deep stone lintels.
Inside, there are two original collar and tie beam trusses with cambered collars. The tie beams serve as anchors for the ground floor partitions.
