Description
This building is a long single-storey barn with a hay-loft, constructed from rubble and topped with a renewed slate roof. The ground floor features four doors, with two central doors that have stone voussoirs, while the right-hand bays are now used as a garage. On the first floor, there are three wooden windows, one of which has wooden shutters and a letting-in door.
The ground floor was remodelled with brick, likely in the mid to late 19th century, and the floors were updated in the 20th century. There are stairs leading up to the hay-loft level, which retains one surviving tie-beam truss with angle struts and an unusual arrangement of close studding between the angle struts.
