Description

The former forge at Tafarn-helyg is a single-storey outbuilding that was originally used as a forge. It is constructed of rubble masonry, featuring large boulders, and has a slate roof with a stone gable stack on the southeast gable, complete with dripstones and capping. The main elevation faces the house to the southwest and includes a boarded stable door on the left and a two-light casement window on the right, along with a single window in the northwest gable.

The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in June and July 2003, but the owner has stated that it retains its original forge fittings.
