Description

1-3 Gellilydan Terrace is a two-storey terrace of houses, built in the 18th century. The houses are constructed of roughly coursed mortared rubble masonry, with large stones serving as quoins and lintels. They have slate roofs with stone coping at the northeast gable and rectangular stone stacks with dripstones and capping. The terrace forms a group with numbers 1 and 3 Gellilydan Terrace.

Number 1, located at the far right (northeast) end of the terrace, has a doorway offset to the left, sheltered by a slate-roofed open porch supported on timber piers. To the right of the doorway is a single ground-floor and first-floor horned sash window. The ground floor window is a 12-pane sash, while the first-floor window is an unequal sash of 9 panes set under the eaves. The interior of the property was not inspected during the survey conducted in June/July 2003.
