Description
The farm building at Ereiniog is a single-storey structure built in uncoursed rubble stonework and topped with a slate roof. It has four bays and features an animal opening centrally located on the south gable end, along with a side door at the upper end. Near ground level at the north end, by the road, there is a pitching door for animal feedstuffs.
Inside, the building has three roof trusses made of tapered principals that are built into the walls and halved at the apex, with tosh-pegged lap collars and two tiers of purlins. The rafters have been replaced, and some of the slates have been partially torched. At the upper end, a feeding walk has been constructed with slate orthostats, which likely reflects the original arrangement.
