Description

The Cock Pit at Peniarth Uchaf is a circular structure with a diameter of approximately 3 meters. It is built from local stone rubble, with walls about 1.2 meters high. The top of the walls is capped by inward sloping copings that create a drip on the inside. There are rectangular cutouts in the copings for timber posts, which likely supported a roof that is no longer present. An entrance is located on the northeast side, featuring a step down into the circular area.
