Description
Betws Inn is a building constructed from rubblestone, with the left side rendered and featuring painted quoins and window surrounds, while the right side is roughly coursed. It has slate roofs and stands two storeys over a basement. The left part of the building has a three-window front, with recessed late 20th-century 12-pane glazing bar sashes that have slate cills. There is a central lean-to porch and rebuilt integral end stacks. A datestone located between the left and centre first-floor windows reads "Pierce 1750".
To the right, there is a lower extension that has two late 20th-century 9-pane sashes positioned below the eaves and a central half-glazed door, along with a rebuilt integral end stack. Attached to the gable end is a lean-to that features a milestone on the front wall inscribed "TO CARNARVON/ 5M/ BEDDGELERT 8". The rear range has an extended and flattened roof pitch, with an original 30-pane sash window. The building was not accessible at the time of the survey.
