Description

This is a terrace of three, three-storey, two-window houses roofed under a single range with a slate roof and stone stacks, except for a pebble-dashed stack on the right-hand end (number 3). In each house, the doorways and windows are offset to the left side. Number 1 has a whitened, roughly textured render, and is aligned with 21 Cornhill. It features a half-glazed door on the left, a replacement shop window to its right, and four-pane sash windows in the middle and upper storeys. Number 2 has a pebble-dashed front, a replacement half-glazed door on the left, and two-pane sash windows. Number 3 is constructed of large blocks of local stone laid in regular courses, revealed by the removal of render. It has a replacement half-glazed door on the left, and two-pane sash windows. The right-hand gable end is pebble-dashed.

The rear of number 1 is constructed of large blocks of local slate-stone laid in regular courses and retains a four-pane sash window in the middle storey; otherwise, the rear has replacement openings. The rear of numbers 2 and 3 are rendered and have replacement windows. Number 3 also has a two-storey lean-to on the rear. The buildings belong to a group at 1-3 Lombard Street.
