Description
This is a terrace of three, three-storey, two-window houses under a single slate roof. The houses have stone stacks, except for a pebble-dashed stack at the right-hand end (number 3). The window and door openings are offset to the left side of each house. Number 1 has a whitened, textured roughcast exterior and is aligned with 21 Cornhill; it features a half-glazed door on the left, a replacement shop window to its right, and four-pane sash windows on the middle and upper floors. Number 2 has a pebble-dashed front and two-pane sash windows, along with a replacement half-glazed door to the left. Number 3 is constructed from large blocks of local stone laid in regular courses, a construction revealed by the removal of render, and also features a replacement half-glazed door to the left and two-pane sash windows. The right gable end of number 3 is pebble-dashed.
At the rear, number 1 is built from large blocks of local slate-stone laid in regular courses and retains a four-pane sash window on the middle floor, although other openings have been replaced. Numbers 2 and 3 have rendered rear walls with replacement windows. A two-storey lean-to has been added to the right side of the rear of number 3. The buildings belong to a group located at 1-3 Lombard Street.
