Description
Cae-Ffynnon is a single-storey, two-room cottage dating from the 18th century, aligned roughly north-east to south-west. An attached contemporary cowhouse extends from the north-east gable. The cottage is constructed of roughly coursed rubble stone, with a turnerised slate roof. The right-hand side of the cottage features four-paned sash windows with slate sills, to the left and right of an offset recessed doorway, now with a 20th-century door. A 20th-century glazed door sits in line with a large ridge stack at the junction with the cowhouse; a smaller integral end stack is located to the right. The cowhouse has a window and a recessed doorway immediately to its left. The interior was not accessible at the time of survey.
