Description

The boundary wall in front of 5 Castle Street is a fragment of the original forecourt wall. It is located on the left side of the house and faces Castle Street. The wall is made of coursed rubble stone and features a saddleback coping, which has been renewed with render and tile. There is a round-headed doorway in the wall, with a flat stone arch on the inner side. The wall continues as a dwarf wall, which encloses the forecourt of the current council offices on the site.
