Description
Chantry Lodge is a simple building with a domestic character, designed in a T-plan layout. It has two storeys, featuring stucco elevations and a slate roof, with a projecting end chimney on the left side. The front elevation includes four windows; the ground floor windows are 12-pane sashes, while the upper floor windows are casements with diamond panes. There is an arched doorway to the left of the centre, which has a multipane door, and another arched entrance at the far left. The left gable end features a projecting porch on the first floor, situated above an arched bridge, with parapetted curving walls that flank a high-level access path. The porch has an arched entrance with a multi-pane door, similar to the main entrance. At the rear, there is a storeyed projection with a hipped roof, and the windows here are also sashes and casements as previously described.
