Description
Llwyn Helen is a late Georgian, two-storey, three-window house that originally served as the rear service wing of Bryn Helen. The walls are pebble-dashed, topped with a slate roof featuring wide panelled and bracketed eaves, and two roughcast stacks. The east-facing front has a central porch with a hipped roof, which is half-glazed with trefoiled lights and features an elliptical arch over a replaced door. To the left of the porch is a 16-pane hornless sash window, and to the right is a 12-pane hornless sash window. There is an inserted window set slightly back further to the right. The upper storey also contains 12-pane hornless sashes, with the left-hand window positioned at a higher level, and a small inserted casement at the right end.
The left end wall has a two-storey lean-to addition, which includes a four-pane upper-storey sash window and a replaced window on the lower storey. Behind this lean-to is another single-storey lean-to facing the rear, featuring a boarded door at basement level. The rear elevation of the house showcases two late 19th-century canted bay windows on plinths, each incorporating four-pane sashes. An inserted door and window are located at the left end. The upper storey has three hornless 12-pane sash windows, with the right-hand window positioned at a higher level, and an additional small four-pane horned sash window on the left. A gabled dormer in the centre features a four-pane sash window.
