Description

Ty Crwn, also known as The Lock-up, is a single-storey building with a circular plan. It is constructed of rough dressed stone and features a conical slate roof that rises to a central cylindrical moulded stack. The building contains two rooms, each with a plain flat-arched entrance. Flanking these entrances are two barred slit-windows that are set high up. Inside each room, there is a corner privy and, presumably, a fireplace, although this latter feature is currently obscured as of autumn 1994.
