Description
This is a 2-storey former warehouse located on Balaclava Road, constructed from rubble granite with larger quoins and a renewed slate roof. At the time of inspection, many openings were boarded up. The south gable end facing Balaclava Road features cyclopean granite. It has central boarded double doors and a single half-lit door to the left, both with boarded-up overlights. To the left of the doors, there is a small inserted window, and to the right, another small window with brick jambs, a slate lintel, and a slate sill has been added between the storeys. The upper storey has a central window with a shallow 4-centred arch, flanked by camber-headed windows. All these wood-framed windows have brick dressings, with the outer windows also featuring slate sills.
The left side wall has six windows beneath the eaves, all with brick dressings. The right (east) side wall contains six openings, but only the left-hand window has brick dressings on its left side. The lower storey has seven doorways, with the right-hand doorway being narrower, all under wooden lintels that are obscured by a later fascia.
