Description

Arfon Oceaneering is a tall single-storey building constructed from rubble-stone, featuring integral pipes that serve as vents. The roof is renewed slate, and there is a small stack on the north gable end. On the north gable end, which faces the dock, there is a tall wide opening with brick jambs and a steel girder lintel, fitted with late 20th-century glazing and a shop front. The gable also has blocked vent strips surrounded by brick. The right side wall is built above the snecked-stone side wall of the dry dock. The rear gable end includes a large inserted opening beneath blocked vents similar to those on the north side. The roof has six bays and retains queen-post trusses that are strengthened by steel rods.
