Barn Range at Cefnamwlch

The barn range at Cefnamwlch is a Grade II listed structure built from rubble stone, with some later 19th century squared granite rubble, and features a single slate roof. The main entrance faces west into a paddock and is tall, with brick jambs and a brick cambered head. There are large shuttered loft windows on both sides of the door, supported by slab lintels. The south end wall was rebuilt in the 19th century and has thirteen small loops.

On the east side, which faces the yard, there is a large shuttered two-light loft window to the left, double doors in the center with a single slab lintel, and a small paned square loft window to the right. A 19th century addition at the north end includes a cart-entry to the left with a massive slab lintel and two small two-light windows under the eaves on both sides. The north end wall features two double ledged coach-house doors with a timber post between them, a roughcast gable, and overhanging verges. There are stone steps at the rear leading to a loft door.

Inside, the barn has six wishbone trusses supporting the roof, one of which is dated AD 1884.
