Description
The summerhouse in the walled garden at Cefnamwlch is a two-storey structure built of red brick, featuring large stone quoins and a pyramid slate roof with broad flat eaves. It has a red brick stack at the southeast corner. The building has a square plan and includes a single three-light mullion-and-transom window on each of the three main sides, with an additional window on the west side at ground level. All windows are topped with slab lintels and slate hoodmoulds, and the east window has lattice glazing. On the east side, there is a plank door to the right, which also has a similar lintel and hoodmould. The rear wall is constructed of rubble stone.
Inside, the summerhouse has a brick floor, pine joists, and ladder stairs. The upper room is plastered and features a corner fireplace.
