Description
The Walled Garden at Cefnamwlch features walls measuring approximately 65 meters by 75 meters. The entrance includes rebuilt gate piers topped with gadrooned urns and elegant scroll-crested wrought iron gates. The broad main gate has side panels, all adorned with a scrolled mid-rail, and the lock was made by J & C McGloughlin from Dublin. The walls slope down on each side, with a lower wall on the left and a higher wall on the right. The walls are curved at the corners, and in the top right corner, there is a square-headed opening with a finely crafted wrought iron scrolled gate. The left side wall ramps down and then rises to two rebuilt gate piers, which feature large ashlar pineapple finials and wrought-iron gates.
