Memorial at entrance to War Memorial Cottage Hospital

The memorial at the entrance to the War Memorial Cottage Hospital is a simple classical-style structure. It features an inscription panel framed by square piers that include mouldings of a shouldered architrave, entablature, and parapet, all made of whitened scribed roughcast. The main inscription reads 'Towyn & District War Memorial Cottage Hospital' in large raised letters, with smaller letters below stating 'Visiting days Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 till 4'. The entablature displays the years '1939' and '1945' in raised numerals on either side of the keystone. The coped parapet has the years '1914' and '1918' in raised numerals on the caps of the piers. Additionally, there are flanking rubble stone walls that feature moulded copings and terminal square piers.
