Description

5 Maengwyn Street is a two-storey terraced house featuring a three-window front. The exterior is pebble-dashed, topped with a slate roof that has overhanging eaves and an added skylight. There is a shared stone chimney stack on the left and an added brick chimney stack on the right. The window and door openings have smooth-rendered surrounds with shallow pediments. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed panel door beneath a Gothic arcaded overlight. To the right of the entrance is an enlarged three-light small-pane window, while to the left is an original two-light window with a cavetto wooden mullion and small-pane sashes that include Gothic glazing bars. The upper storey features three similar two-light windows. The property has not been inspected.
