Description

6 Maengwyn Street is a 2-storey, 2-window terraced house built in 1832. The front is pebble-dashed with a slate roof featuring overhanging eaves. There is a shared stone chimney stack on the right and a replacement 20th-century shared blue-brick stack on the left. The front has smooth-rendered surrounds with shallow pediments and smooth-rendered pilaster strips at the ends. The openings are offset to the right. The entrance, located on the right side, has a replacement glazed door with a plain overlight above it. To the left of the entrance, there are 2-pane sash windows; the lower storey windows have horns while the upper storey windows do not. Below the sill of the upper right-hand window, there is a stone tablet inscribed 'Built by Richard Owens ... 1832'.
