Description

Stanley House is a late-Georgian, three-storey, two-bay house built from large coursed blocks of unworked rubble stone, featuring stone lintels and a slate roof with overhanging eaves. The house has stone end stacks, with the right stack shared. The lower storey has been altered to create a shop front and is rendered. It includes a replacement door on the left in a wider splayed opening, along with two small-pane windows to the right. The middle storey features 12-pane horned sash windows, while the upper storey has shorter 12-pane horned sash windows. The left gable end is set back to the right side, and there is a lower former bakery attached to the building.
