Agricultural Range at Old Ynysfor

The Agricultural Range at Old Ynysfor is a 5-bay barn constructed with rubble and features a flush, continuously-roofed carthouse and a hay loft extension to the right, along with additional cart bays beyond. The building has slate roofs with tiled ridges and a slate-slab gable parapet on the southwest gable. The main barn includes opposing segmentally-headed central entrances with rough-dressed voussoirs, and modern boarded doors at the front. Above these entrances, there is an open rectangular loading bay located under the eaves, with two pairs of ventilation slits on both sides, arranged in two tiers.

At the rear of the barn, there is a late 19th-century open catslide lean-to supported by four cast-iron pillars. To the right of the barn is an early 19th-century continuation that features two wide cart entrances with large slate lintels. The first entrance has a boarded loading door above it, located under the eaves, and a ventilation slit to the right. The second entrance is taller, with the ground level slightly elevated in front, providing large single-storey access with boarded double doors. Adjacent to the right and slightly stepped down is a near-contemporary 2-bay carthouse, constructed in the same manner. This section has a reduced opening to the left, which now contains a 6-pane window, and a large open entrance to the right. There is also a single-bay addition to the right, set back slightly, with a boarded door on the front face. The main barn features visible overhead transmission shafting from the 19th-century addition.
