Description
1 Garreg Terrace consists of a row of five cottages and the Brondanw Arms public house, located at the northeast end. The buildings are constructed of rubble with a continuous slated roof, using older slates for the Brondanw Arms. Each cottage has low rubble walls in front, while the Brondanw Arms is set behind low rendered and pierced block walls. Cottages 1 and 2 are rendered, while the others are whitened. The buildings feature plain shared end chimneys, with the inn's chimneys being larger. There are 20th-century storeyed additions at the rear of cottages 1, 3, 4, and 5, and a single-storey lean-to addition at the back of cottage 2. Each cottage has a two-window unit design, with a central modern boarded door and rectangular 8-pane casement windows on both the ground and first floors.
