Description

Cyffin House is a two-storey, three-window house built in the third quarter of the 19th century. It is constructed of local slate rubble, with the southwest gable rendered. The roof is renewed slate with a tiled ridge and plain, rendered end chimneys. The front of the house is symmetrical, featuring a recessed central entrance with a modern boarded door and a plain rectangular overlight. The windows are plain, recessed 19th-century four-pane sash windows, all unhorned except for the one on the ground floor to the right. Each window has projecting slate cills. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
