Description
5 Garreg Terrace is a row of five cottages along with the Brondanw Arms public house, located at the northeast end of the terrace. The buildings are constructed from rubble and feature a continuous slated roof, with the Brondanw Arms using older slates. Each of the cottages has low rubble walls in front, while the Brondanw Arms is set behind low rendered and pierced block walls. Cottages 1 and 2 are rendered, while the others have a whitened finish. The buildings have plain shared end chimneys, with the chimneys of the inn being larger. There are 20th-century storeyed additions at the rear of cottages 1, 3, 4, and 5, and a single-storey lean-to addition at the back of cottage 2. The entrance to cottage 1 features a modern boarded door, with square 9-pane sash windows on the ground and first floors to the left.
