Description
The Brondanw Arms Public House and Nos 1-5 Garreg Terrace are a row of five cottages and a village inn located at the northeast. The buildings are constructed of rubble with a continuous slated roof, using old slates for the Brondanw Arms. The cottages have low rubble forecourt walls, while the inn is set behind low rendered and pierced block walls. Nos 1 and 2 are rendered, and the other cottages are whitened. There are plain shared end chimneys, with the inn featuring larger chimneys. There are 20th-century storeyed additions to the rear of Nos 1, 3, 4, and 5, and a single-storey rear lean-to addition to No. 2.
The front of the building has three bays, with a central boarded door and a rectangular overlight, sheltered by a flat-roofed portico supported by cast-iron fluted columns. Similar engaged columns are present on the wall. The windows on both floors are recessed 6-pane sash windows.
