Description

27 Castle Street, also known as Ffordd Castell, is a two-storey building constructed from roughly coursed and shaped boulder rubble, topped with a modern slate roof featuring red tiled cresting and end wall stacks. Each house has a three-window range that forms a two-unit plan, with the doorway positioned towards the centre. The doors have been renewed in their earlier openings.

Number 27 features a four-pane sash window on either side of the entrance, along with three similar windows above that do not align with the lower openings. Number 25 has a two-pane sash window to the left of the doorway and a long three-light window to the right, reflecting its previous use as a shop. Above, there are three narrow four-pane sashes that align with the three lower openings.
