Description

Weighbridge House is a building constructed with regularly coursed slate slabs and features a slate roof with a rendered integral end stack on the south-east gable end. The entrance is located in the north-west gable end, and there is a horizontal sliding sash window on the front wall. Alongside the building, there is a section of narrow gauge railway track, which has the words "W. & T. AVERY Ltd. BIRMINGHAM" in raised lettering on the base-plate. A wagon is positioned on the track. The building retains its cast-iron balancing mechanism and weighbridge.
