Description
Bodlondeb is a farmhouse built from squared granite rubble stone, topped with slate roofs, plain bargeboards, and timber gable finials. It features a roughcast ridge stack and is one and a half storeys tall, designed in an L-shape with a crosswing at the north end that projects to the east. The windows include sash and casement styles, notable for having an unusual reduced number of glazing bars in their upper sections. The east gable of the crosswing has a 2/12-pane sash window above a lean-to stone window projection with a slate roof, alongside a triple casement window with top-lights. The main range to the left includes a stone gabled porch at the angle, with a similar pair of casement windows to the east and a door on the south side. There is another similar pair of casement windows on the ground floor to the left. The south end gable features a first-floor sash window above a similar pair of casement windows, which are sheltered by a slate pent roof supported on large stone corbels. At the rear, the roof is hipped at the northwest angle, and there is a dormer gable with a 20th-century plastic window.
