Description
Gellifaharen is a farmhouse constructed from rubble stone, topped with a slate roof that is hipped at the northwest angle. It features a stone stack at the northern end. The building has a broad, two-storey front with three windows and paired brackets supporting the flat eaves. On the first floor, there are tripartite sash windows with a 4-12-4 pane configuration on each side and a central 12-pane sash, all of which are horned. The windows have stone voussoirs that are cambered and slate sills. To the right of the centre, there is a date plaque.
The ground floor has a central entrance with double panelled doors set in a timber doorcase that features a moulded architrave and an open pediment supported by scroll brackets. On either side of the entrance, there are large canted bays with horned sashes; the side windows have 12 panes, while the front windows have a 4-12-4 pane configuration. The bays have a rubble base, slate sills, and a timber cornice, with marks indicating where hipped roofs were previously located, now replaced by a flat roof. The bays are likely from the early 20th century, and the doorcase may also date from this period. Four round-nosed slate steps lead up to the door.
At the northeast, there is a rear wing with a northern wall that has 20th-century dry-dash cladding and bracket eaves.
