Description
Coedfoel is a farmhouse built from whitewashed rubble stone, featuring stone end stacks, with the southern end stack being larger, and a slate roof. The building has a two-storey front with three windows, which are small-paned sashes—nine panes above and twelve panes below—along with a central door. The windows have slate sills and cambered stone heads, and there are paired brackets supporting the flat eaves. The sashes do not have horns, and the door is a five-panel design, one of which is glazed. Above the door, there is a plaque that reads 'D Charles 1832'. The end walls are made of rubble, and there are attic windows. The rear of the house has an outshut.
At the entrance to the farmyard, there is an unusual stone pillar with a vertical slot that appears to have held a pulley wheel, which was used to carry drive from a waterwheel located at the foot of the hill to a now-demolished mill.
The farmhouse has a standard centralised plan and features a large cambered beam in the fireplace at the southern end.
