Description
Bodernabwy is a farmhouse constructed from colour-washed rubble stone, featuring a slate roof and whitewashed end stacks, with the left stack being significantly larger. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window front that is notably offset to the right. On the first floor, there are three square windows located under the eaves, with two positioned to the left of centre and one to the right. These windows have 12-pane hornless glazing. The ground floor features larger 16-pane hornless sash windows, which are roughly aligned with the outer windows of the upper floor, although the left window is not perfectly aligned. The entrance has a 20th-century door with jambs made of rough projecting stones.
To the right of the farmhouse, there is a lean-to cartshed that has a curved corner and a broad opening. There is also a single-storey outbuilding located uphill to the left, which has three windows. At the rear of the house, there is a wing that includes an end stack, a 16-pane sash window, and a door.
While the interior is not available for inspection, it is reported to contain two encased beams, and a small visible section of the west beam shows some moulding that may represent the top rail of a post and panel screen.
