Description

Cwm March is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century, constructed of whitewashed rubble stone with slate roofs and stone stacks. It is a two-storey, three-window house featuring large, twelve-pane sash windows with stone voussoirs and slate sills. The central entrance has matching voussoirs, a ledged door, and an overlight. A rubble stone enclosing wall fronts the garden, topped with slate coping and bent wire railings, including a matching gate. To the right of the main house is a large service range, lower in height and with a stone ridge stack and a brick end stack. This range is divided into two parts without a visible division in the stonework. Each part contains a door to the left and a twelve-pane sash window to the right, with a small four-pane window above the eaves.
