Description
Lleithyr is a farmhouse built around 1870, constructed from rubble stone with a slate eaves roof and stone end stacks. The building is two stories tall with an attic and features a three-window front. The windows are framed in red brick and have slate sills, with the upper windows showcasing pointed-arched heads and Y-tracery glazing bars. The lower section includes two large sash windows, one of which is original and has marginal glazing bars, while the other is a 20th-century plate glass window.
At the center, there is a gabled stone porch topped with a slate roof, adorned with ornate bargeboards. The porch features a tall pointed-arched doorway with a traceried overlight and a four-panel door, where the upper panels are gothic and each arch is subdivided by a central pendant. The east end wall has pointed attic and first-floor windows, along with a large ground floor window that contains a 20th-century plate glass sash.
To the northeast, there is a rear wing with a grouted slate roof, divided into two sections. The left section has three ground floor windows with cambered brick heads, with the center window replacing a door, and two windows above. The north side has a rubble stack. The right section features one window above with a brick head and two windows below, along with a concrete block porch and an outshut at the rear.
