Description
14-16 High Street in Tremadog consists of a pair of similar single-fronted houses, each two storeys tall with a basement. They are constructed from large squared blocks of quarried stone arranged in regular courses, topped with a slate roof and featuring stone end stacks. The entrances are centrally located and raised above street level, accessed by shared slate steps with iron handrails. Both houses have replacement glazed doors. The house on the left, No 16, has 2-pane sash windows and a 2-light replacement basement window that includes a steel-framed top-hung casement. No 14 has replacement windows fitted into the original openings. The right gable end of No 14 is pebble-dashed. This pair of houses is part of a group at 14-16 High Street, Tremadog.
