Description
The former stables at Plas y Coed are a single-storey building arranged in a U-shape around a small courtyard. The structure is made of snecked rubblestone and features a hipped slate roof. The central range has a boarded opening at the front, with a conical ventilator to the left on the ridge and a similar ventilator on the front of the east range. The west range includes one doorway on the left, two windows with stone cills, and an integral lateral stack on the east wall. There are gate piers at the inner front corners of the east and west ranges, with the former being truncated and the latter retaining a moulded stone cap. The west range has been extended to the north of the original courtyard. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
