Description

Penybryn Bridge is a segmental arched bridge made of coursed rubble, featuring voussoirs, a stringcourse, an impost band, and freestone coping. The bridge curves out at both ends, finishing with battered pilasters, and the revetment walls of the cutting extend beyond the bridge.

It has late Georgian iron railings with urn finials along the parapets, which connect continuously to the railings in front of The Old Farmhouse and Penybryn House on the left side. At the north end, there are fluted lamp standards with curved brackets still in place on the northeast side, and a modern lamp is located on the northwest side.
